.577-450 Martini Henry caliber. 33" barrel secured by two bands. Martini falling block action with the lower tang acting as the lever. External cocking indicator. Walnut forend and straight grip buttstock with a two inch piece extension at the butt and ending with the correct steel buttplate. The receiver bears the " VR under the crown/BSA & M.C./1876". Showing a pleasing even gun metal color with smooth surfaces. Sword bayonet with 18" blade marked "WILKINSON & COMPANY" at the ricasso. Accompanied by its steel mounted leather scabbard.
