Description:
This antique Facile Princeps gun has been given a new lease on life with English sleeved 28" x 2 3/4" steel meaty nitro proof barrels with excellent bores choked 715/705 IC and 715 685 F. Tight as rejointed. Forend is original, buttstock has been refinished and recheckered, has a scratch along the comb. Original buttplate, nice. Action has about 25% coverage English scroll. Floorplate has been reblacked, floorplate screw is a correctly fitted and engraved replacement. LOP 14", drops 1 7/8" and 2 3/4", 5/16" cast off. A nice 7lb English double that will shoot modern ammo all day long and serve another 100 years with continued care .
