Description:
This Colt 38 Special was produced in 1960. The pistol's serial number is 924990. It is fitted with a 6 inch heavy target barrel. It has the factory setup for single action shooting only. This is a very unusual feature and usually special ordered. It has the fully adjustable target rear sight. The front sight has the high ramp base. The trigger is serrated as well as the back strap. The top frame has the non-glare finish. There is a light hint of muzzle wear on the sides. The factory bluing would rate a good 97% or better overall condition. The composite "Bowling Ball" grips are very colorful and in minty condition. The single action is very crisp in it's release. The bore and chambers are in very fine bright condition. This Colt does not show much use or being fired. This is a high quality target pistol that should still win matches today!
