Standard Octagonal barrel Takedown with full magazine made in 1924. Standard sights. The rifle's serial number is 947653. It is chambered for the 32 Winchester Special. Takedown feature is tight with no alterations or ajustments. Sharp bore showing little use. The wood has some fancy figuring with no cracks or damage. The varnish is fully intact. There are no alterations or repairs on this rifle. Overall the bluing is a 94% condition. Most of the loss is around the receiver. The nickel steel used in these Winchesters did not hold the blue well. The bluing would wear off very easy with light use. To find a early style nickel steel Winchester with this amount of finish is a real find. The full magazine takedown feature is not commonly seen in this time frame. The stock and forend really have nice figuring which is not seen on standard guns. This Winchester would look great in any collection! Search for Harry Viezens on google.
