This carbine's barrel date is 10-43. This gun's serial number is 2937080. This is a oval cut high wood stock style carbine. The stock and handguard have all the original finish intact.The inspection stamps are sharp and clear. All the parts in this gun are correct Inland parts for the serial number range and time frame. The original military finish on all the metal parts are fully intact. This gun has seen very little service or use. The flat bolt retains almost all of the original bluing. The bore is bright and sharp. The front and rear sight are original to this gun. This carbine has not been through a rebuild program or been restored or messed with! I purchased this gun from the original veteran. It was mostly used for guard duty. The original sling and oiler comes with this carbine. The magazine is a correct Inland coded magazine. This is a high condition Inland Carbine that should appeal to the serious collector. Inland Division Of General Motors Made the highest percentage of these carbines during the Second World War.
