Description:
Smith and Wesson Model 686 (no dash) Stainless .357/.38 calibur. Barrel length is 8 3/8". I purchased this pistol in 1987 when the longer barrel length 1st came out, and it has been stored in the back of my gun safe ever since. I did take it out and test fire it, 5 rounds, right after i purchased it. The factory inspection stickers are still on the bottom of the grips (32) and on the back of the frame (42). It has not been handled or played with since i test fired it. This barrel length was only offered from 1987 to 1999, so it is very rare in this condition. It comes with Factory Goncalo Alves Target Grips, White Outline Rear Sight and Red Ramp Front Sight, Wide Target Trigger, Factory Tool Set and all associated paper work. Ser. No. is AVC95xx.
