Description:
Fox Sterlingworth 20 gauge with the original hang tag! Virtually all the original finishes and factory choked IC/Mod. This gun is a true closet Queen in the sense of case colors, wood varnish, and blue. 99% case colors and trigger guard blue, while only minor handling marks keep the barrels and wood from being the same. Hang tag is original and in wonderful condition as well except for a small tear. Writing is totally legible and matches the gun. The face shows little to no sign of being opened much at all. The gun is stiff and tight as new and I truly doubt it was shot over a handful of times. NOW THE NEGATIVE... Someone at some point engraved initials into the right side of the receiver along with multiple small meaningless marks on the water table. It appears to have been done with an electric pencil and is not very deep. Hard to imagine the mindset of why someone would do this to an otherwise new gun! The gun survives as an as-new hunting gun with great factory chokes, weight, and stock dimensions. It will ship with a leg-o-mutton case that the gun came to me in. Its a no-name case in fair condition. A $25-$50 dollar value.
