Description:
Serial #2895, .32 Caliber, 3 3/4" octagon barrel with a fine, bright bore that has some traces of freckling within the grooves. This is a handsome revolver that retains 90-95% of the original bright blue finish with a few small spots of flaking on the sides of the frame as well as along a small portion of the cylinder. The Adams markings are clear and crisp on either side of the frame, and the Paris retailer marking is also clear along the top of the barrel: “Francis Marquis Bte 4 Boulevart des Italiens Paris". The top flat is mostly smooth gray, but traces of the original bright nitre-blue remain near the rear sight. The loading lever retains about 80-85% of the original nitre-blue, and some original straw color remains on the safety, as well as some of the other small parts. The checkered walnut grip is in fine condition with only some light handling marks, and very mild flattening of the points. The mechanism is fully functional and the revolver is in excellent condition overall. Antique
