BROWNING SAFARI MODEL BOLT ACTION RIFLE WITH HIGHLY FIGURED CHECKERED STOCK
Cal. .222,
22" stepped rapid taper bbl, blue finish, highly figured checkered walnut stock with cheekpiece and Browning hard rubber buttplate. Engraved floorplate and trigger guard. Sling swivel studs in stock.
PROVENANCE: Rod Fuller Estate Collection. CONDITION: Fine. Bbl shows a generous amount of blue with only slight muzzle wear and some plumming toward muzzle.
Scope mount holes are filled on bbl. Bore is slightly frosty with strong rifling. Receiver retains almost all of orig blue with only some high point wear and a few scratches. Scope mount holes are plugged. Bolt handle is polished bright. Bolt is numbered to gun.
Bottom metal retains most of orig blue with only some high point wear and a few scratches. Stock is fine with nice figure, sharp checkering, cheeckpiece, and sling swivel studs.
Buttplate is very good. A very fine Browning bolt action rifle that was made in Finland.
