Description:
Approximately 45 cal with an of the period 34" full oct bbl. This gun was originally converted, I believe, from the Civil War Spencer carbine frame and buttstock. Metal is excellent with 30-40% bbl blue toning. Receiver is mostly gunmetal grey with traces of case colors. Wood is VG with most original varnish and a minor crack on the left hand side of the lockplate which has probably been repaired and is solid. Marked on top of the bbl is the initials "G W Harder Tyrone PA". Nice clean sharp little gun. Unique with the 34" bbl.
