Fresh out of the "woodwork" so to speak, this is the first time this Nazi Browning High Power has ever been on the collector's market. Purchased directly from the family of the veteran that brought it home as a trophy, this is a very nice all-original example of a Nazi occupation production Browning High Power complete with an original magazine and "clg 43" holster rig. According to the son of the veteran, his father took it from a German KIA during the Battle of the Bulge and held onto it for the rest of his life. This particular P-35 High Power is a mid-war production gun with the simplified rear sight and no shoulder stock slot. The original factory finish is in good shape overall. It shows some spots of finish wear and high-edge wear but has a nice clean look to it. The bore in this pistol is excellent, with strong rifling and no pitting, erosion, or visible imperfections. The original checkered Walnut grips are in excellent shape. They are free from any cracks, repairs, or damage. The checkering is still clean and crisp. Everything on this pistol works 100% like the day it left the factory. The slide is still nice and tight to the frame and works smoothly by hand. It goes into battery with authority, and the safety and trigger function perfectly. It comes with the original 13-rd magazine. This P-35 High Power also comes with the original holster it was captured in. The holster is in good shape with fully intact stitching and nice flexible and soft leather. The German soldier's name is written on the inside of the flap but is partially faded. This can be seen in the pictures provided. This WW2 soft-shell holster is stamped with the maker code and date of "clg 43". If you have been looking for a 100% original and unmolested WW2 High Power rig in great shape for your collection this is your chance to get one. It is not often that we get the chance to introduce a WW2 Nazi pistol rig to the collector's market for the first time, much less one as nice and complete as this one.
