This is a beautiful mint and unfired Remington Model 7400 175th Anniversary Edition in the original box. This rifle was bought new in 1991 and put in storage where it has remained since. This semi-auto Model 7400 is chambered in .30-06 caliber and features a 22" inch barrel with a 5-round detachable box magazine. The 175th Anniversary Edition was made in 1991 only, and features a engraved receiver with scroll work surrounding an eagle on an American shield and a beautiful checkered Walnut stock set. This rifle is in mint, like-new condition and has never been fired or carried afield. It still has the promotional hangtag on the triggerguard. The bore is mint with factory new sharp rifling and zero imperfections. The barrel does not have any iron sights on it but is factory drilled and tapped for them. The receiver is factory drilled and tapped for optics. The factory original gloss blue finish rates 99.9% with no wear, scratches, or dings. The original stock set is also like-new, with clean and crisp checkering and no signs of storage or handling wear. Everything on this rifle works 100% like the day it left the factory. This Remington 7400 comes with the original box with an intact end-label serial numbered to the rifle. The box has the original Styrofoam inserts inside but the original owner's manual has been lost somewhere along the way. If you have been looking for a new Remington rifle for your collection that is both limited production and in mint condition, this would be an superb choice. It would be impossible to find a better example of this rifle!
