This Colt was produced in 1961. The pistol's serial number is 34778 SA. It has the 7 1/2 inch barrel chambered for the 45 Colt. The frame is color cased. The original box is serial numbered to this pistol. The end label is intact. The box has some repairs and top side sections missing. The box is in fair condition. The pistol is in near new condition. It has been fired very little. The bore and chambers are bright and minty looking. The cylinder stops have a very faint drag mark from being cocked. It has the then new low profile hammer with floating firing pin. The action is crisp with a clean hammer release. The color cased finish is colorful and vivid. The color case finish would rate a 99% overall condition. The bluing would rate a 98% overall condition. The original grips are serial numbered to this Colt. The grips are in excellent condition. This is a very fine condition Colt with it's original box that will really appeal to the Single Action Collector. Search for hlvfineguns on google for more details.
