This kit is a early post World War Two kit. The Instruction sheet is dated 7-48. This kit is not serial numbered. This is a complete kit with no missing parts. The kit is for the series '70 Colts and earlier. It will not work the series '80 pistols. This set shows use but no abuse. The bore and floating chamber is in very fine condition. The slide has the high polish sides and sand blasted no glare top. The magazine is the correct Colt magazine for this set. This kit comes with one magazine. The other magazines are for illustration. The target sights are the correct early style post war sights. The box is the tan style box with the Colt logo on the top. This box is in good condition showing some wear. The original instruction sheet is in good condition and not coming apart. This is a nice complete early post war kit for the shooter and collector. I have several original correct new magazines that can be available with this kit, they are sold separetly. Search for hlvfineguns on google for more details.
