Description:
A VERY FINE EXAMPLE OF A 1917, BUILT BY WINCHESTER FOR THE WORLD WAR I TROOPS. THIS IS ALL PROPERLY MARKED AND COMES WITH THE MUCH SOUGHT AFTER WINCHESTER STAMPED BAYONET. THE SLING IS MARKED 1943, SO THIS MAY SUGGEST IT MAY HAVE BEEN A TWO WAR VETERAN, MANY OF THE EARLY WW II TROOPS WERE ISSUED THESE RIFLES.
OVERALL VERY GOOD CONDITION WITH STRONG BORE AND GREAT WOOD ON THE SOLID STOCK.
