Belgium Browning .22 Semi-Auto Grade II or higher. Custom Squirrel/Prarie Dog gun.
Initaials MM are on the top of receiver, it comes in deep relief; beautifully and distinctively engraved. This rifle was engraved by Marie Louise Magis. She was a Master Engraver and is noted as one of the "Big Six" of Master engraving work sought by Browning collectors. is an elegant Belgium made high-end 1964 gun above VERY NICE condition. The hand engraved satin gray receiver and the blued barrel finish both inside and out is 100%. The only physical condition flaws are
the gold trigger shows some signs of use on one side as is typical for the Browning Gold Triggered guns. The other is some small indentions on the top and bottom of the Buttstock near the Butt Plate but the beautiful finish is intact. The butt plate is excellent. The wood is outstanding dark walnut- obviously carefully selected by the master engraver in maintaining the tradition of excellent gun making! Email me if you want more pictures.
