Description:

SMITH & WESSON .32 S&W “Hand Ejector” Revolver

Made Circa 1914

Here we present a C&R Smith & Wesson .32 S&W Hand Ejector Third Model Double Action Revolver, made circa 1917 in Springfield, Massachusetts. This is the third model of S&W’s first revolver to feature the swingout cylinder and the plunger ejector. It featured a double action mechanism with the ability to shoot in single action. This would have made a fine weapon for self-defense in the 1920s!

The left side of the barrel is marked “SMITH & WESSON”. The top of the barrel is marked “SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD MASS, U.S.A. PAT’D/OCT.8.01.DEC.17.01.FEB.6.08.SEPT.14.09.DEC.29.14”.

The overall condition is very good. The metal surfaces have been refinished in nickel. The markings are clear and legible. The serial numbers match. The pearl grips are in great shape. The bore is clear and bright with strong rifling. The action on this revolver is excellent.

This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic.
