This is a true gem. This little Colt was hand polished and gold inlaid with 24K gold wire by Ray Cover. It is top notch work. All the corners are sharp and true and the flats are flat on the polish job. The inlay work is perfect. Ray also made the custom mastodon grips. The hot bluing was done by Arts Gun Shop. The trigger, thumb safety, and back strap after were all bone and charcoal color cased by Arts Gun Shop. This custom calaboration between Ray Cover and Arts Gun Shop produced a beautiful firearm that is a true work of art.
This is would make a great one of a kind Christmas gift.
The 1908 vest pocket Colt was produced in 1918 according to the serial number charts. Mechanically it is perfect and everything functions as it should. After all the work put into it the finish is now perfect as well.
