Description:

Marlin Ballard No. 6 Schuetzen .32-40 caliber rifle. Gun has the correct No. 6 Schuetzen factory engraving, set triggers, VernierTangent sight. Barrel is.32-40 caliber and is a No.4 Winchester barrel. Bore is like new. Barrel has a wind gauge front sight. Gun weights 13 lbs. Buttstock has 98% original varnish and has some light pressure marks. Checkering is excellent on both forend and buttstock. Forend is bushed and threaded for palm rest and we do not have the palm rest. Barrel has approximately 95% original blue. Underside flat of barrel with forend removed is factory (Winchester) marked .32-40 and ""H"" for barrel size. Note: When Ballard went out of business, Winchester installed barrels at Winchester for Ballard owners who wanted a different caliber barrel or to replace worn out barrels.
