This Inland M1 Carbine is a collector level rifle. Manufactured between '9/43 and '1/44 with Serial # 2999833. The book "Comprehensive Guide M1 Carbine, by author and M1 Carbine expert Roger Larson, with over 4,000 full color photos was used to validate the authenticity of all of this carbine's parts by manufacture and type. This book is a "must have" if you are a serious M1 Carbine collector, historian, or even a novice!
This carbine has no import parts or been rebuilt as evidenced by all of the key components and parts. All parts in this rifle are correct for the time period and serial number range.
Inland stamped USGI parts list : Barrel, Bolt, Extractor, Firing Pin, Front Sight, Hammer, Hand Guard, Magazine, Magazine Catch, Oiler, Operating Slide, Rear Sight, Receiver, Recoil Plate, Sear, Stock, Trigger, and Trigger Housing.
Unstamped USGI parts identified as correct for this specific M1 Carbine : Barrel Band, Butt Plate, Magazine Release, Slide Spring Guide, Safety, Recoil Plate Screw and Escutcheon, Slide Stop, All Springs and Screws, and Sling.
