A really fine example with one of the more unusual shipping destinations. According to the letter there was a total of two guns like this in the shipment- the same year Charles Lindbergh made the first flight across the Atlantic! (I think the world has changed a little bit since then!) This one shows just some minor handling/carry wear to the bright blue. There is some dulling of the blue on the on the grip straps- but not gray or silver. There is also some very light thinning of the blue on the barrel sides near the muzzle along with some very slight edge wear and thinning on the cylinder etc. Action is tight and the cylinder lock-up shows no looseness or end shake at all. Bore is minty bright and the hammer back and trigger still retain the factory fire-blue finish. Exc. hard rubber grips and lanyard swivel intact. All excellent markings. A classic Colt big bore with hard to find 7 ½” barrel with interesting factory letter.
