SCARCE CIVIL WAR ERA MANHATTAN PERCUSSION .36 CAL. 3RD SERIES NAVY REVOLVER W/RECOIL SHIELD PLATE. 5 shot with 4” barrel addressed “MANHATTAN FIRE ARMS CO. NEWARK, N.J.”. All matching and original in the 15,xxx serial range. Very good to fine overall with excellent markings including a crisp 100% cylinder scene. 10 stop cylinder with patent date stamps at rear and desirable scarce recoil shield plate. Crisp metal with traces of finish. Brass straps with minor silver plate. Near mint walnut grips with all the original finish. Perfect working order and excellent plus bore and chambers.
