BEITZINGER OBERNDORF MODEL 98 MAUSER 7X57 MAUSER CAL. SPORTING RIFLE CA. 1980’S. 21” barrel engraved “GEORGE BEITZINGER, N.Y.”. Ramp front sight. Lyman 48M receiver sight. Classic English style checkered walnut pistol grip stock with steel pistol grip cap and checkered steel butt plate. Barrel mounted forward sling swivel eyelet. Damascened bolt and magazine follower. Checkered and floral engraved bolt handle and gold inlaid “S” and “F” safety leaf. Mint condition with all the blue and stock finish. Mint bore and perfect working order. Looks unfired. By one of the top American rifle makers of the modern era.
