Description:
This is a Winchester pre-64 Model 70 rifle in .30-06. The serial number dates to 1954. The 24 inch barel is in Very Good condition with a shiny bore. The action is Very Good with some wear on the bolt handle. Sights are a folding leaf rear and ramped bead front sight. The front sight hood is not present. Bottom metal is Very Good with a little light pitting on the floor plate. The stock is checkered walnut with a steel Niedner style butt plate and sling swivels. The stock has been revarnished. The steel butt plate is not proud.
