Description:
This is an original (no improvements or modifications) 1891 #2 G grade Parker 12 gauge side by side shotgun. It was found in grandpas attic and now up for sale. I will try to give as much info, but if you have questions please feel free to call. It is as I found it . Seems to be little or no pitting. One barrel was what seemed to be used the othe looks like it wasn't used. There is normal wear for a 130 years old shotgun, but was kept nicely. It has (2) 30 inch Damascus barrels which I believe have improved, modified an full chokes. All Parts move nicely . It has fading on end of stock from a leather cover. I didn't want to polish it because I didn't want to effect the originality. There is a crack and seperation on the butt plate. (see pictures). It has the original leather case (all there, but not in good shape) and a canvas case for the second barrel. It has a leather butt plate cover, again all there, but not in the best of condition.
