Description:
This scarce bayonet features 17 inch blade with two inch false edge, "Crown over GRI, 10'16 and RF1 marks on ricasso. Opposite side shows bend test and inspectors marks. Blade shows a dark patina with some scattered pitting, pommel shows crossed out unit markings. This bayonet rides in a leather and steel scabbard with round frog stud. Throat and chape are pitted leather is till supple with a split in seam near chape. A less common variation of the 1907 bayonet.
