Description:
Serial #25670, 7.65mm Para. (.30 Luger), 4 5/8" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a beautiful “BUG" proofed pistol (on the underside of the barrel, on the receiver, and on the toggle) that has all matching numbers and retains 97-98% of the original blued finish with some mild silvering and light fading at the muzzle and along the projecting edges (heaviest on the sideplate). The trigger, take-down lever, safety, magazine release, and ejector retain about 75-80% of the original straw color with the balance faded to a lightly speckled bright gray, and there is still vivid fire blue on the sear spring and on the original front sight blade. The matching numbered, checkered walnut grips are in fine condition with some light flattening of the points on both panels, and a single spot of moderate wear on the right panel. The pistol comes with a single, “GERMANY" marked, wood-base commercial magazine and rates excellent condition overall. This is a great '06 Commercial Luger overall, and would make a stellar addition to any collection. FFL or C&R
