Antique Colt London 1849 Pocket Model percussion revolver, caliber .31, with 6" octagon barrel, made in 1854, only 11,000 of the London models were made from 1853 to 1857 so this is quite rare. Correct English proofs on barrel and cylinder as well as the correct 2-line London barrel address. Very good overall condition. Barrel retains 30-40% original bright blue with the balance patina. Frame retains 40-50% original bright case colors with the balance nickeled out. Correct iron grip strap and frame. Serial # 1432 with all numbers on the cylinder, barrel, grip strap, trigger guard, frame, ramrod and wedge matching. Very sharp cylinder scene is quite clear, about 95% there. Original walnut grips are in excellent condition and show only very minimal wear and usage marks. Action is strong and indexes perfectly every time. Bore is fine. Seldom found in this condition, this will make a great addition to your Colt / Pre-Civil War percussion collection.
