WWI-era Stevens .22 Rimfire Offhand TARGET PISTOL
Great Single Shot Target Pistol with Heavy Bull Barrel
Here we present a Stevens Offhand Target No. 35 Single Shot Pistol, made circa 1916 in Chicopee Falls, Massachusetts. This pistol has a heavy bull barrel, making the balance of this pistol great in the hand. It features fully adjustable sights. The action is single action only. The trigger is quite crisp.
The barrel is marked “J.STEVENS A.&T CO./CHICOPEE FALLS, MASS U.S.A.”.
The overall condition is good. The original nickel finish is 90%. Blue finish on the barrel is 80% strong on the octagonal portion with no finish and a mixed patina on the round portion. The markings are clear and legible. The grips are in great shape. The bore is fair to good with visible rifling and a few spots of light roughness. The action on this pistol is excellent. Here is a great 100 year old Target Pistol!
