Sale pending ! # P.134617 Remington 1894 C grade, ejectors, with two 12 Ga barrels.
One set is 30 “ , “ Ordnance” with 2 ¾” chambers .728 bores .028 wall thickness minimum , choked .029 and .033 ( tight IMP MOD and Full).
Good condition with nice striking , 90% black and a light oxidation in the bores , I think a polishing of .001 or .002 at most would restore them to mirror finish.
The gun weighs 7 pounds 7 Oz with the longer tubes.
The 2 nd set of barrels is 26 ¼ “ tubes , 2 ¾” chambers , .727 bores .040 wall thickness , choked .000 Cyl and .009 Skeet 2. 85% blacking and bores that would need a .002 to .003 polishing to get back to new.
Weight with this set is 7 pounds 6 Oz.
The action is in very good condition with 20% of original case colors, 40% scroll engraving proper to the C grade, and clean screw slots. Bolting is good with both barrels and they are tight on face.
The stock has a 14” LOP over an .900” orange pad with leather face , with 1 ½” and 2” drop and neutral cast . The wood is in very good condition with some handling marks ( 90% ) and nice, crisp checkering(95%)
