Description:
ANTIQUE Smith and Wesson 32 double action 3rd model. The S&W 32 DA 3rd model was made from 1882 to 1883, with SNs ranging from 22173 to 43405. Only 22,232 were ever produced. SN - 40698. Since this revolver is an antique, it will ship directly to you.
This particular revolver shows wear and some light rust and patina as pictured. The remaining nickel finish is factory. The pistol is all matching including the grips. The grips do not show any cracks or chips. This revolver works properly in all respects: hammer holds, trigger returns, latch returns, extractor works properly, revolver indexes well, and lockup is good. The barrel measures 3.5in. The bore shows visible rifling throughout with some light pitting noted. I would rate the bore a 8/10. The front sight had a small brass bead added to it, which could easily be removed, if one so desired.
