Neat BELGIAN Antique ALL BRASS 8mm Revolver
Single Action Revolver Made Circa 1870s
Here we present an antique Belgian 8mm Rimfire Revolver, made in Liege circa the 1870s. This small revolver features a single action mechanism and a completely brass construction, frame and barrel. Belgian proof marks are located on the right side of the frame. Chambered for 8mm Rimfire cartridge. This would have been intended for use as a concealable pocket revolver in 19th Century Europe.
The overall condition is good. Mellow patina on the exterior brass with a bit of verdigris inside the bore which can be cleaned out. The markings are clear and legible. The grips are in great shape. The bore has visible rifling. The action on this revolver is strong.
