Description:
Right-hand draw Lawrence marked holster. The back of the holster is marked "122 The George Lawrence Co. Portland Oregon and R6 5 1/2. Indicates it would take a Colt SAA with 5 1/2 inch barrel. Most of these are used for fast draw with a 4 3/4 inch Colt SAA or Clone. This is the classic Hollywood holster. This holster has a life time of wear left. Dark russet color with a scuffed leather surface. Could be polished up, but I like the character it shows, besides it looks intimidating, like you are a gunhand! The main seam is expertly sewn. Holster has no rips or tears and is ready to use or display.
This fine George Lawrence Company model #122 Lightning Side Holster is made from Premium Skirting Leather with a Single Loop secured by a Hand Laced Rawhide Thong.
George Lawrence Company Portland, Oregon maker mark logo which dates this holster from the mid 1940s through the mid 1980s. Included is no nonsense buscadaro belt that measure 41 inches to the center hole.
