Description:
Schoverling, Daly & Gales of New York began doing business with H.A. Lindner of Prussia/Germany in the late 1870s with guns shipping to the U.S. with the Daly logo.At the outbreak of WWI the commercial sporting arms production ceased and after the war, having no heirs, Mr Lindner dissolved the company and retired 1918, soon after Prussia became part of Germany.This is a rather rare shotgun as we have not seen any with a 34" barrel. This gun should be professionally restored to appreciate its full collector value.

Metal Condition: The receiver shows a fair amount of case color remaining and the barrel retains about 90% original blue with scattered rust spots
Wood Condition: The wood appears with normal handling & field marks with the addition of a significant gouge near the fore end tip & a small chip-out adjacent to the trigger guard. A small surface crack appears near the bottom iron.
Bore Condition: Bright and clean showing no blemishes
Barrels: 34" High Vent Rib with extractor ( may have had an ejector feature at one time but appears to have been defeated)
