This is a beautiful like-new and unfired Winchester Model 70 Super Grade in .300 Winchester Magnum in a deluxe Maple factory stock. This rifle was bought new and put up in climate controlled storage, it has never been carried nor fired since leaving the factory. It comes with the original box serial numbered to the rifle with all of the paperwork and Styrofoam inserts. This AAA grade Maple stocked Super Grade was a special 2018 SHOT Show model and from what we have been able to find, available on a limited basis. These are superb rifles. The fit and finish and quality of metal polishing is really excellent. The finish on this rifle is mint, with no scratches, dings, dents, or wear. The bore is pristine with sharp rifling and no visible imperfections. The stock is like-new as well with no dings, dents, or handling marks. This particular piece of Maple is exceptionally attractive. As you can see in the pictures, there is beautiful striping along the whole length of the stock. The stripes almost look like they are floating over top of the wood. The stock really makes this rifle stand out amongst other rifles. The checkering is crisp with sharp edges and the contrasting Ebony forend tip looks great on the light Maple stock. The stock has beautifully done cheekpiece and has factory inset sling swivel bases and a blued steel pistol grip cap, as well as a factory-fit Pachmayer recoil pad. The length of pull is 13.75" inches to the end of the pad. The factory jeweled bolt really has to be felt to be truly appreciated. This rifle has a super slick and smooth action by even custom rifle standards. The standard "MOA" adjustable trigger is also superb. It breaks crisply with a light pull with no creep or slop. Everything on this rifle is 100% like the day it left the factory. If you have been looking for a new addition for your rifle collection that will really stand out from the others this is it!
