Description:
This is a 60 caliber percussion musket with a Joseph Golcher lock. It has a tapered 30-?” half octagonal barrel with a brown finish. The taper is 1” at the breech plug to 13/16” at the muzzle. Both the front and rear sight are fixed. The bore is a little rough. There are small dings throughout and some finish wear under the stock. The lock is engraved “JOSEPH GOLCHER” on a scroll. There is also engraving on the hammer. The browned trigger and trigger guard have some finish wear, but no scratches or dents. The walnut buttstock has been stained dark and has small dings throughout. The left side of the buttstock has a raised cheek rest. The browned buttplate has a cut for a patchbox latch. Length of pull is 13” and overall length is 46-½”. Our stock number is P-26-86. Willing to ship anywhere in the US, buyer pays freight and insurance.
