STUNNING GRADE 2 BAR MADE AND ASSEMBLED IN BELG. (not Portugal or Japan). Beautiful light honely colored stock set. Receiver and all blued surfaces at or over 90% (some light scratches high on left rear near top under scope) but otherwise all blue probably closer to 95%) Finely checkered. Butt Stock had repair at the toe (previous) done farily well. The Browning Butt Plate was chipped and repaired. We have an exceptional stock man near to us; I would not have him touch the existing repair but he may have a correct Browning Butt Plate; if he does we will have the Butt Plate replaced before shipping, otherwise see pics or ask for more pics. There are normal hanlding marks on stock and someone got a little oil in the checkering on the forend (toothbrush and warm soapy water should easily clean this)
This is a somewhat rare lst year gun, very pretty. These are known to be excellent shooters. For less than the price of a new Remington Semi Auto you can own one of these exceptional firearms. It has not been fiddled with, no non factory holes or other.
Leupold Vari X 11 2X7 shown is NOT included. It may be purchased as long as it is still available by the buyer of the rifle for an additional 99.00. The Leupold Base and Rings are included in the sale. There are a number of scratches on the scope (could touch up with black paint and fine brush) but optics are fine and it carries Leupolds lifetime warranty for defects.
