Description:
This is an exceptionally nice 5” 36 caliber Manhattan Navy percussion revolver. The serial number is 37812 and is all matching numbers, including the wedge. The mechanical function and bright and shinny bore are excellent condition. It retains over 92% barrel blue and 95% vivid frame and loading lever case colors. The grip and trigger guard retains 80% silver and the cylinder retains 99% cylinder scene and 95% blue. The grips retain 95% varnish. This 5 shot 5” barrel Manhattan was most likely made in late 1864 or early 1865. This is one of the finest Manhattan Navy revolvers to come available.
