This is a Colt Army Special in 41 Long Colt Calibre .Ser # 453,691 Mfg in 1920. Its has been become a custom Kitzgerald Type . Hammer bobbed, trigger cutaway, 2 and one half inch barrel,polished bammer and trigger. a beautiful fit bone grips with colt medallion.It is finished in dull nickel and fully Engraved. A very nice example of a Fitz done piece. Mechanically excellent and nice bore and cylinder. The grips are expertly fit and the whole piece was certainly done by a craftsman and gunsmith as well as a talented Engraver. Do not know who customed this piece nor who the engraver was.
