Colt Lightning 40/60/260 Lighting caliber carbine. Very early gun, serial 16 made in 1887. This gun is a factory carbine in 40-60-260.0 Barrel has 95% of the original blue. Frame has 65% of the original blue. Wood is excellent. Large frame lightning rifles are rare, a carbine is almost unheard of. Action works perfectly. Bore is excellent. Fantastic and rare piece.
