This is without a doubt the most exceptional Fabbri I've ever had and its history is as compelling as its condition-just look who ordered it! I have not found or seen another as a 2bbl Live Bird Set.
Ivo Fabbri Special Gold Pigeon 12ga 2bbl Set with 28" & 30" original fixed choke barrels in leather makers case with very complete provenance.
Features: Sidelock Ejector with hand detachable locks. Engraving done by and signed by Ferruccio Iora. Both Barrels are (desired) Bohler Super Blitz Steel as marked. Barrel #1 is 28" and is fixed choke .020" over .007" (Skeet/Mod) and weighs a lively 1.370 kgms. Barrel #2 is 30" and is fixed choke .044" over .022" (Xtra Full over Mod) and is a a proper 1.430 kgms. Both correctly serialized to gun with original proof sheets. Current cost from Fabbri for a barrel alone is $50K.

Balance is incredible, bores are mirror perfect, zero indications of wear abuse or past repair, locks up like a vault door is closing. There is little argument Fabbri stands alone as the worlds finest maker of shotguns. An incredible set for box and hand thrown birds or as a sporting set. All too often high grade guns of this caliber have a glaring flaw either in condition, modification or configuration-this has none and is a Fabbri collectors dream.
