Description:

Spandau Mauser 98 8mm caliber rifle. WWI German military rifle made in 1916. Arsenal refurbished by Mauser in the 1930’s. Rear sight has S/42 and eagle 63 waffenamts. Serial numbers are non-matching. Rifle was re-issued to Franco's troops during thew Spanish Civil War. Bore is very good with strong rifling. Very good plus overall condition. An interesting piece of history.
