We normally ship USPS Priority Mail which should be 2-day ship. Shipping is actual cost with a minimum of $30.00 for pistols and $50.00 for rifles/shotguns to ship to most of the 48 contiguous states. Shipping to Alaska may require an extra fee. Shipping insurance is available upon request for an extra fee. We cannot do international sales. As of November 2019, we no longer ship guns to California and Hawaii.

Description:
This is quite a rare, high quality Winchester shotgun. It come with its original Winchester-labeled carry case. The Light Duck was a special variation of the Model 23. Only 500 of these guns were produced and they were given a special serial number range to denote this. Al serial numbers begin with the letter prefix “LD”. The Light Duck uses a single trigger. The condition of this gun is exceptional. The only sign of wear is on the trigger. The gold leaf is flaking off to some extent. Otherwise, the bluing is untouched. There are some ever so slight marks in the wood on the right sight but otherwise the wood is in perfect condition. The 28” barrels have fixed, full chokes, a somewhat unusual combo for a SxS, but properly suited to the job of duck hunting. The bores are utterly clean. The previous owner states that he purchased the gun but never used it. The action is stiff which what one would expect from a shotgun in this condition. It would make a fantastic addition to any Winchester collection. The Light Duck would make a fine choice for those who do not like the recoil of a twelve gauge or are searching for a light double for use in duck hunting.
