Webley & Scott MK VI Cal. 455. Uncut and beautiful.
This has to be the nicest uncut 1919 dated MK VI I have ever had and it is totally correct. The condition is super retaining about 94+95% of the dark wartime finish. There loss is due to some slight thinning, a bit of patina and sharp edge silvering. There are no pits, scratches, rust or rub marks anywhere. The grips straps haven't a trace of graying. The frame, cylinder and barrel group all match. Almost all of the the British proof marks and the Army Broad Arrow have been chalked for visibility.
The black plastic grips are perfect no chips, splits or flattened points. The lanyard ring is still present. The gun locks up tight and indexes properly. The recoil shield, chambers and force cone show very little user. The barrel is mirror bright with razor sharp rifling not a touch of frost anywhere. It like the rest of the gun is just a great example of a very slightly used war hero.
It certainly would be outstanding in a collection or at the range......Shipped...$1895.
