Description:
This is a very nice British Snider Enfield Cavalry Carbine. .577 caliber. Single shot. Has a 19 1/4" barrel with a a bright bore that still shows strong rifling. It has a rear ladder sight to 600 yards. Has a two-piece cleaning rod in the butt . The hammer has a flat face. Lockplate is dated 1870, the right rear of barrel is marke "222". top of buttplate is marked "R 4/E 47". The hardwood stock is solid and shows some age cracks an old period repairs. Brass shows some light oxidation and spots of cleaning. Buyer pays $35.00 shipping to lower 48 states. I accept USPS Money Orders or Bank Cashier's Check.
