Awesome condition on this very scarce Remington. The gun retains for all intents 100% of the original factor finish. There are some very tiny edges nicks a maybe a tiny flake missing but that's it. It is unquestionably the finest I have ever seen.
To add to its rarity the bulk of the few that were made were factory engraved. In this instance the un-engraved ones are considered to be much rarer.
The walnut grips do show some slight lacquer loss. They are about 95% original with some little hairline scratches and that's about it.
All parts are correct and the gun functions properly. The bore has sharp well defined rifling with just a hint of graying.
It is amazingly beautiful for a 150 year old pocket pistol.
Definitely someone's "Attic Trunk Queen".. It just doesn't get any better than this one.....$1695
