Payment Types Accepted: Visa,Master Card, Discover,Check Description: Colt Officer's Model Target (Third Issue) fitted with a 6 inch "Heavy Barrel" (last patent date stamped on top of the barrel is Oct. 5, 1926), checkered walnut grips with Colt medallions, adjustable front sight, adjustable rear sight, checkered trigger face, is blue finished, and chambered in .38 Special. This 1937 vintage Colt is in fine original condition, retaining 85-90% of its original finish, with minor thinning on the sharp edges of the cylinder, frame, and muzzle of the barrel. Most loss of blue is under the frame behind the trigger guard and the front strap. The trigger looks great but the hammer has been filed on, (cannot explain, unless it was for some sort of extension). The grips fit perfectly and are in very good condition, with minimal handling marks. All screw-heads are mostly unmolested, even the small sight adjustment screws. The bore is bright and the action functions perfectly. Sorry, no box or paper-work. Would make a great shooter or collectable.
