A fabulous Holland & Holland Royal double rifle in 303 cal. file cut H&H style quarter rib with one standing and two folding platinum lined express sight. 14 1/8 pull to a horn plate. Classic H&H house style full coverage engraving. Receiver with concealed third fastener, bushed firing pins with retaining set screws, silent extractors, bolted manual top tang saftey.
Trigger guard tang extended to the grip cap, and top strap extending over the comb. Weight 9 lbs. 9 oz.Built in 1897. Color 80% plus, black 90 % Fitted in an oak and leather case recently relined. Correct period label. This rifle was once housed and displayed in Holland & Holland's Museum Collection Cabinet at Bruton St.
