Fine old Confederate Bowie knife: Overall length 18". Blade length is 12-3/4". This classic "as found" Confederate side knife was made from a large file w/ a 4-1/2" turned down iron guard. Blade is saber ground w/ beveled top edge & 2" clip. a well patinaed light wood grip w/ iron furrel & capstan rivet.
Condition: Very good overall as found, iron patina to blade, hand worn patina to wood.
