Description:
Very sharp markings with lock and buttplate dated 1808. Pitting overall and could be cleaned up quite well if you know what you are doing. Wood has sharp edges with a chip missing on backside of band. Nipple broken but gun works fine. Was converted Belgian style then converted to the drum style. Confederate? This is a scarce gun civil war used.
